Need Help With the ACT/SAT? Check out these FREE Resources!
So which test is MORE important? The SAT or the ACT?
Well, it's neither. They are both worth exactly the same when it comes to the college application process. The whole point of the SAT/ACT is to allow colleges to determine what your testing abilities are like. Some people do better on the SAT than on the ACT and vice versa. The whole point of taking both exams at least once is to figure out which one you're more comfortable with. Once you're comfortable with one of the tests, take it again (and again!) to bring your score up to where you deserve.
Instead of buying expensive textbooks that may or may not be outdated or just walking into the test without studying (plz no), take a look at some of these awesome resources below!
Free SAT Prep:
Khan Academy
This incredible tool has 8 different SAT tests (all made by the SAT test makers) that you can take online. These are full three-hour exams, so you should be good if you only take one. These exams provide information on what sections of the test you aced / need to work on after you submit it. After that, you can focus in on the individual sections of the test to start boosting your score.
According to recently released research, six hours on Khan Academy (10-15 mins a day for one month) will give you a 100 point INCREASE on the SAT. Not too shabby, eh?
